Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 04/11/2026
1. Scope
These Terms & Conditions govern the contractual relationship between ParaglidingShop Europe (“the Seller”) and anyone placing an order through paraglidingshop-europe.com (“the Customer”). Placing an order means accepting these Terms in full. As ParaglidingShop Europe operates from France, these Terms are drafted with reference to French and EU consumer law.
2. This site does not take online payment
Unlike most online shops, submitting an order on ParaglidingShop Europe does not take any payment. It is an order request: the Customer provides their contact details, delivery address and an indicative payment method. A ParaglidingShop Europe advisor then contacts the Customer, typically within 2 business days, to confirm stock availability and agree payment. No money is taken before the Customer has explicitly confirmed the order.
3. Prices
Prices shown on the site are in euros (€), tax included. ParaglidingShop Europe may change its prices at any time; the price that applies to an order is the one shown when the order request is submitted.
4. Payment
The payment method (bank transfer, card payment by phone, etc.) is selected as an indication by the Customer when requesting an order, then confirmed with a ParaglidingShop Europe advisor. Payment only takes place after that confirmation.
5. Delivery
Delivery terms, timings and costs are set out on our Shipping & Returns page.
6. Right of withdrawal and returns
Under Articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code (implementing EU consumer rights law), the Customer has 14 calendar days from receiving their order to withdraw, with no need to give a reason. Practical steps are set out on our Shipping & Returns page. This right does not apply to products unsealed for hygiene or safety reasons (helmets, technical base layers) once their protective packaging has been opened after delivery.
7. Statutory warranty
All products sold are covered by the French statutory warranty of conformity (Articles L.217-3 et seq. of the Consumer Code) and the statutory warranty against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code), in addition to any commercial warranty offered by the manufacturer. See our Warranty page for how to make a claim.
8. Product use and safety
Paragliding, paramotoring and speedflying are sports that carry inherent risk. Products sold on this site are intended for use by trained pilots who understand those risks, in line with the manufacturer’s instructions. ParaglidingShop Europe cannot be held liable for use that does not follow the manufacturer’s guidance.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this site (text, images, logos, structure) is protected by intellectual property law. Reproduction without prior authorisation is prohibited.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the Customer may refer the matter free of charge to a consumer mediator; the relevant mediator’s details are available on request.
